Update: it is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Maura. A beautiful, loving, caring mother, grandmother, friend and family member.

As the family prepares to say their final goodbyes I ask that everyone shares this post so we can cover the medical bills and services cost. Please keep the Patenaude family in your thoughts and prayers, if you are close go by to visit and spread your love.


Hi, I’m Dominique a family friend of Maura. In December of 2017 Maura was diagnosed with an incurable cancer. Up until that time Maura worked full-time as a nurse caring for others in Massachusetts. Maura is a mother of 3, and grandmother of 4 who has always put others first. Maura has had multiple surgeries, hospitalizations and endured chemo that has made her extremely sick and weak. Maura’s family has been caring for her at home, paying for medications purchasing handicap accessible items to keep Maura comfortable. She is currently in rehab and her insurance won’t pay for her cancer treatments while she is inpatient, which is the families last hope of having more time with Maura. The family just received a letter from SS stating they won’t be able to pay her benefits at this time. SS is Maura’s only source of income, as her retirement papers have not been finalized. This loving family is doing all they can for Maura but they could really use some extra help with the mounting bills and any future care that Maura will need. Her children Sean & his wife Nicki, Shana & her husband Scott, Eric, her grandchildren Erica & her partner Luis, Allie, Ava, Scotty & Abraham thank anyone who shares, donates, or prays....
