Well & Hay for Wild Horses

Tax deductible
HELP SAVE COLORADO'S WILD HORSES
These horses are on private land, not BLM land.  Locals take 50 to 75 to slaughter every year. The Spirit of the Wild Horse Foundation recently bought back a band of 14, at a cost of $3000. that  was money for hay. These horses were at the sale barn destined for slaughter. Those of you who have been on Wild Horse Mesa have met Casanova and his family.  They are FREE AGAIN. They are a bloodline of Spanish horses that are decedents of the horses brought by the Spaniards in the 1500's. These beautiful horses are a part of the history of Colorado and New Mexico.

We need your help to raise money to complete the well drilling for the wild horses. Right now water is being hauled in 3 times a week at a cost of $1000. a month and hay costs have gone up because of the drought. That is another $2000.  for hay We need help to get through the winter and get the well completed. There are between 50 to 75 horses depend on the water that is put out the location of these horses in Southern Colorado no longer have the ponds that used to be filled for them and the other wildlife.

A thermography survey and been done and the water location has been confirmed.  We are on the schedule for the end of December and don't have the full amount of funding yet.  PLEASE HELP!  Spirit of the Wild Horse is a 501c3, you donations are tax deductible.
