Weisser Glass Studio & Gallery, located on West Howard Avenue in Kensington, has been serving the arts community of the greater Washington, DC metropolitan area for over 26 years.
As a teaching studio and fully stocked resource center and supply house, we love our customers and students and consider them part of our extended family. (Some have even been with us longer than the retail shop has been open!)
Along with many, many other small businesses in Maryland, Weisser Glass has been forced to shut down public operations during the current coronavirus situation.
While we understand and fully support Governor Larry Hogan's decision- nothing is more important than working together to combat this global crisis- it has the potential to put the studio's future in a precarious position.
We ask you to please consider donating if you are able, to help maintain the studio during this time of crisis. Even the smallest donations add up to big help and we are currently enrolled to receive match contributions up to $500 through the generosity of the Go Fund Me #SmallBusinessRelief , available for a limited time, so if you wish to help out, please consider doing so earlier rather than later!
Any funds we receive will go towards maintaining payroll, studio overhead, and other essential business expenses during the shutdown. We will continue to serve customers in any way we are allowed during this time.
Thank you for your support during this crazy time, we love you and miss you, and hope you are staying safe and healthy. Stay positive and creative and together we will get through this!
