Headshave for Wedgetail Retreat Murwillumbah

Hi my name is John Tilden, I will be shaving my head to raise money for Wedgetail Retreat, a hospice centre on the outskirts of Murwillumbah, NSW.

I will be donating my hair to wig manfacturers to be given to cancer patients. The money raised will help Wedgetail Community hospice to continue to assist each patient and their family on their unique and individual journey towards letting go.

Wedgetail Retreat Hospice’s philosophy is to provide a space where people can be themselves. They provide a space focusing on the concept of living well and helping our guests to establish a deep sense of meaning and connection during their final days of life.

Wedgetail do not recieve any state government funding, their main form of revenue is through community funding and the money created from the Murwillumbah Palative Care Opshop.

I hope to rasie $5000 to help Wedgetail Retreat continue to provide an environment to those that are terminally ill, to pass, surrounded by care, calmness and tranquility.
