Sarah & Max's wedding charity gifts

For our wedding, instead of having a gift list, we’re hoping to raise funds for two charities that mean a lot to us.
The first is local - Hackney Winter Night Shelter, which welcomes homeless people in for hot meals and warm beds. You can watch a video about their wonderful work here: http://www.hwns.org.uk/
The second is global - One Happy Family, a community centre for refugees in Lesbos, providing life-changing support to families from Syria, Congo, Afghanistan and many other places. You can read about their projects here: https://ohf-lesvos.org/en/projects/
Both are small, volunteer-run organisations, which means every pound we raise goes to the people who need it.
Once all the donations are in, we'll split the pot 50/50 and transfer the funds to each organisation via their fundraising pages.
Please only give what you can - even small donations make a difference. And no worries at all if you're not able to contribute - making the journey to be with us on the day really is generous enough!

We are raising funds for 2 registered charities. We will be in contact with them by email.
How the funds will be spent (be specific as possible):
Half the funds will be donated to Hackney Winter Night Shelter, which welcomes homeless people in for hot meals and warm beds in Hackney, London and half the funds will be donated to One Happy Family a community centre for refugees in Lesbos, Greece. Both are registered charities.
Your specific plan for how the funds will be withdrawn from and sent to the beneficiary of the campaign:
We are receiving the funds into a personal bank account. Once all donations have been received we will then arrange the donations direct to Hackney Winter Night Shelter and One Happy Family. This will happen in the first week of April.
