HELP Webster MA School Kids Please

Hi.  My name is Liz Lahens and I live in Webster, MA where there is a 60 percent poverty rate in the public school system.  This is the 7th year I am collecting donations of school supplies, crayons, coloring books, puzzles and more for every student (Preschool-12th grade) for the holidays and would like to please ask for your help.  Often times these are the only gifts these kids receive.

I have a goal of $5,000 which would purchase Crayola Crayons (the 24 pack boxes),  coloring books, puzzles, filler paper, notebooks, back packs, lunch boxes, pencils, pens, erasers, folders, reusable gift bags (to carry the items to the teachers), hand sanitizer, Clorox wipes, and much more.  

These donations are brought to the children by the principals of the schools and a few helpers.  The kids just glow with excitement when they realize these are for them!  Some of the children even cry (and I do too).

Please open your hearts and share in the magic of the holiday season with a child less fortunate.  No donation is too small and any donation is greatly appreciated.

The picture is my living room the night before the  donation and this was the result of lots of big hearted people who want to make a difference and do.  On the couch is 63 new backpacks for these great kids and the floor is loaded with all the school supplies and much much more.  Last year we received enough to donate up to the 6 th grade and it is my goal to collect for every child so that no one is left out.
