Hey friends of our beloved Claire,
Claire's dad is in critical condition in the hospital back at home in BC and she has had to make an unexpected leave to take care of him. As a result, she’s had to miss out on various shows and gigs making it challenging to cover her upcoming expenses.
The length of her stay in BC is up in the air still as it’s difficult to say how long her dad will need Claire’s assistance. For now, we are just reaching out to friends and colleagues so that we can pitch together some funds to at least alleviate her of immediate expenses (rent, bills and plane ticket etc).
We want to be respectful of Claire during this really difficult and trying time and also show her how much she means to us. I've set the donation goal to $1000 but, please absolutely no pressure at all to financially contribute if it isn't feasible for you right now. We understand that January and these next few winter months are particularly challenging and slow for many of us work-wise, but anything you can give can and definitely will help! Even just sending Claire some encouragement through a message or email will make her feel so loved and supported <3
