This morning, our dear friend Vanessa Bell tragically lost her brother Simon. Just a few days ago, he went into the hospital to have surgery to remove a tumor in his colon but the operation didn't go smoothly. He contracted sepsis and they had to put him in a medically induced coma. He passed away this morning in London.
Of course, Vanessa is devastated and wants to be with family (her brother had several children) immediately but I know that the financial strain of two airline tickets overseas (for her and her son) is a huge burden right now, especially after having recently closed her business. Let's please help her get to England, ASAP!
For those of you who know Vanessa, you know that she shows up as a friend 100% and is the first to give when somebody needs help, advice or a hug. She embodies friendship and goodwill. I know that she would never ask for this help on her own, so I am asking for her.
