My name is MacAdam Smith and I am the owner of Lake Norman CURRENTS Magazine. Less than two weeks ago, life in the Lake Norman Area was thriving, restaurants were busy, schools were open, businesses were flourishing, and construction was happening at a frantic pace. All of that has come to a grinding halt and many local businesses have quickly gone from prosperous to near disastrous.
To aid local businesses in the Lake Norman Area, we are trying to publish a special issue of Lake Norman CURRENTS Magazine in May, “We Love LKN”. All advertisement inside this issue will be free of charge. Our goal is to help local businesses reopen their doors with as much success and support as possible.
It’s time to help our community! By donating a small amount, you can bring the “We Love LKN” issue to fruition and provide local businesses with the support and advertising they will so desperately need to come back. For donations of $20 or more, your name will appear on the cover of this issue. All proceeds from this fundraising effort will strictly go to production, printing and distributing of the magazine. If we exceed our goal, all excess funds will be divided amongst our advertisers as another gift from the community. Let’s help our local businesses get back on their feet!
I have had the privilege to call Lake Norman home for almost 12 years and I understand the power and magnitude of joining together and giving back. I am grateful for this platform and for the opportunity to give back to our community.
