We lost my dad and are at risk of losing our home

I am raising money in these unfortunate circumstances because my father Deleon Workman passed away on Halloween night 2020 and it has left myself my mother and my two year old daughter in a messy financial bunch due to complications with terrible insurance policy’s and improper handling of documentation at the veterans hospital has left my mother without widows benifits.  We find ourself now without the income source that was sustaining the home we live in. We moved here from Canada many years ago to try and get my father better health care due to an acquired brain injury he got in early 2000, he was a strong caring thoughtful man who thought me a lot and I’m so thankful for everything he has provided for us while he was with us.  He sadly had to be moved into assisted living in 2017 and shortly after his health and well being started to deteriorate very quickly. It was a long sad time but I was thankful to have the time with him.  We had a lot of issues with the facility and I felt he was not being taken care of at all. He Stopped eating and drinking and nobody tried to help him. I finally took to the hospital myself after request to not do so by staff and my father was diagnosed with cancer through his whole entire abdomen. It was a tragically disappointing thing to hear as we had never heard such diagnoses before. It was heartbreaking to know that it was untreatable and that we simply had to idea. My father spent two weeks in the hospital before he was moved to his final resting spot of another facility where he past 13 short days later. This quarantine has been a huge detriment for our family and I am sorry to anyone to can relate to my story. I am now scrambling to find work before our bills become to overwhelming and I have a two year old daughter who I am fighting for. Any contributions to this fund will go straight to my mother For late bills. I am accepting job opportunities aswell. Thank you for your time in reading this somewhat morbid story.
