WE GOT YOUR BACK SON STEVE COSTANZA

This is an older photo, but it's one of my favorites, because it shows the love between fathers, sons, grandsons and uncles. What we're about to do with this GoFundMe project is not easy. Steve is a hard worker; normally handles two jobs. His waitstaff position at Harrah's "High End" restaurant is coming into its' peak season; when tips are hopeful and replenish the coffers. But not this year, for Steve. That's the downside; the upside: He's ALIVE!! Steve was rushed to emergency last week with a perforated diverticulitus. He went into Septic Shock . This is graphic; He had a Sigmoid Coloctomy (a portion of his colon removed) After several days in the hospital, he's home now, getting lots of TLC from our "Daughter-in-Love, Nancy. BUT...he won't be able to return to work for at least two months. Here's where it gets "quirky" in our beautiful Lake Tahoe. When you live in one state (Ca) but work in another (Nv) it's not automatic that you get disability. You have to fight for it and even then, it's not a sure thing. In the meantime, house payments, everyday expenses, utilities AND increasing medical bills....don't subside. If Mom and Dad (that's us!) had the loot, we'd gladly give it to him; we don't...so the next best thing I know to do is reach out to our friends who have always shown their affection and loyalty to our clan. Any amount will be appreciated because it came from you! - $5 $10 ....Hey! $25 or more, I'll write you your own personal lymerick or haiku...you choose! Yeah, it's a bit "humbling" to ask for handouts, especially at Christmas when everyone's shopping....but I'd do anything for my kid...including eating "Humble Pie". Wouldn't you? When the surgeon saw Steve for his follow-up visit, she said "You are my miracle patient and I need you to continue that way." That means no lifting; eating properly and "Rest; No Stress" Ah yes....easier said than done when bills and mortgage payments have no empathy. Just so you know, if you aren't in a position to give financially, your prayers and good thoughts always count with the Costanza's. Christmas Blessings to All....and a Happy, "Healthy" New Year....
