We are Team Jojo

(Organized by Liliana and Linda) Receiving the news that your child has been diagnosed with cancer is absolutely heartbreaking and frightening for any parent as well as other family members and friends.  This is exactly what happened to Edith and David. On July 4, 2018 their Sweet Lil JoJo was diagnosed with T-cell Lmphoblastic Lymphoma an aggressive form of cancer.  JoJo is only 7 years old, but he is so brave, resilient and cheerful. He is a happy boy who has no idea how courageous he really is.  Sadly, Jojo's ordeal has just begun, from doing things that young boys like to do: and for those who know Jojo it was playing football to being a healthy boy -this instantly changed. Withinn days of his disgnosis, Jojo has underwent surgery, several spinal taps, port placement and a couple of rounds of Chemo. Jojo will also undergo twice a week treatments with spinal taps every 8 days and any other procedures that may arise unexpected. Jojo's treatment is estimated to last 3 to 4 years and it will be a financial hardship for their beautiful family; not to mention the emotional rollercoaster that they are enduring. His loving parents Edith and David will need our help to alleviate the financial burden.
