In spite of all the challenges this year has brought to our country, my husband and I are thankful for the silver linings that helped sustain us through it all. Due to the massive attack of Covid-19, in March 2020, we both found ourselves without jobs.
Although frustrated with how our lives took such a quick turn, we were determined to keep our faith in God and remain at peace within ourselves, and our home. We would not let this pandemic destroy our confidence to stay focused on the main goal.. the happiness and overall well being of our family. With two children whose lives had also been stripped from them the moment they heard "no more school," we had a big responsibility to also tend to them more and stay in tune with their mental health and happiness.
After days, weeks, and even months of being at home quarantined together we were able to not only take time out to reflect on ourselves individually, but also on ourselves as a whole.
During this time of reflection, my husband and I realized that we both had credible experience in our fields. Johnny having 15 years experience driving over the road and myself having 10+ years experience in management for small to mid size businesses and taxes, we began to think of the possibility of us combining that knowledge and experience to create something for ourselves.
1 Ten Transportation Ltd. was born!!
1 Ten is actually my birthday (January 10th) and favorite number!
We have everything set up for our business, registered with the state of Colorado, obtained a federal ID number, filed to have our business recognized as an S-Corp, have a business phone number, website, email, and have begun to establish B2B relationships through networking, which have exposed us to opportunities that will assist in the scaling and growth of our business, and of course JT has a valid Commercial Drivers License.
Now here’s where you come in…
This year my birthday wish is to get our first truck on the road by my birthday!! (1/10/21)

What's the Money for??
- $3,500 deposit for truck - we will be leasing our truck. (Considering we are a start up, the option of leasing will be best for our business model to avoid the liability of truck repairs. The leasing company will presume responsibility for all maintenance of our truck. Once the term of the lease is up, we will have full ownership of the truck.
- $2,000 - $1mil. insurance policy- Required in order to operate truck
-$500- First trip fuel expense
-$1500 - First month truck payment
-$1500- First month insurance payment
- $500- Authority documentation
-$500- reserve for misc. unexpected expenses, tolls, scales, etc.
So here’s the proposition...

For anyone that donates less than $100- the donation will be considered a birthday gift! Thank you so much!!
For anyone that donates any amount exceeding $100- your contribution will be considered an investment into our business and you will receive your investment back + 2% interest compounding monthly until balance is paid in full. (That’s a better return than most savings accounts) Disclosure- All investments guarantee return within 3 months of initial investment. To ensure the integrity of the agreement is upheld, signed contracts between 1 Ten Transportation Ltd. and the investor will be required.
