Help Eddie get healthy

Around Thanksgiving 2017, I noticed a lump on my 3 year old son's neck. He was very sick and would not eat for a week so I had to make him protein smoothies to give him nutrition and keep him hydrated. After a round of antibiotics, the lump shrunk from the size of a golf ball to the size of a quarter. We met an ENT pediatrician on December 4th who recommended an MRI which was scheduled on December 27th. Eddie developed bronchitis so the MRI was rescheduled to January since the procedure requires Eddie to be under sedation. After the MRI, the doctors at DuPont were 85% - 90% sure the lump was either a branchial cleft cyst or a venous malformation. Surgery was then scheduled on February 14th but the day before surgery, the hospital canceled it because we do not have insurance. Then within a few days, Eddie developed an abscess in his neck overnight and I rushed him back to DuPont. He was hospitalized for 5 days with IV antibiotics, then a tube was inserted into his neck to drain the abscess. Surgery is scheduled to remove the lump during the week of March 19th but once again, DuPont is going to postpone his surgery if I cannot provide a down payment and pay some of the previous bills. If he does not have the surgery, he could  develop another abscess.

I am working my hardest to provide for my family with at least 2 jobs working days with Eddie by my side because he cannot go to school at this time and also nights. I applied for CHIP insurance when DuPont denied the surgery but they are still processing my application and at this point, won't back date the insurance from when I submitted it. I am stretched to my limit and I am trying to remain positive for Eddie but I am scared. I have created this GoFundMe page because I need help. Eddie's birthday is in a few weeks and I am praying that he will be healthy again, go back to school and play with his friends soon.
