Please help me and my wife

Hello, my name is Brian Baker. My wife Amy and myself are both very hard working proud and independent people so it is very hard for me to be asking for support and help. Currently my wife who is the love of my life is in critical care battling a combination of endocarditis and pneumonia. The doctors have told me at this point she os fighting for her life and that things could go either way.  The reason I am seaking help is because a few days before Amy was admitted to the hospital I started a new job and as with most jobs they hold a weeks pay so I will not be getting paid for two weeks. I have to find a way to make the 60 mile round trip from the hospital where Amy is staying to my work and back every day for the next two weeks and also keep our bills and utilities paid. With my wife in the hospital our income has already been cut in half and I truly don't know how we will manage for the next two weeks without the kindness and support of our neighbors and friends. I do not wish for a situation like this apon anyone but if you have taken the time to read this far please think of how you would feel if you were in this situation.
