Medical Expenses

I  had Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) for Inherited Dystonia and Dystonic Tremors- a movement disorder that does not effect intelligence. The medical device is implanted in your motor area of your brain to help control movement but they place the wires  to close to my cognitive area. The result is the wires are creating an inability to consciously retrieve information from long term memory. My brain has swelling around the wires, is under to much pressure, and I have high blood pressure from the device.  My brain is constantly pressured. I feel horrible most days and loss all my creativity. My ADHD is the complete opposite of what it was and I have been left with severe ADD creating difficulty learning new things. I have had amnesia for 3 years which has now mostly worn off but the implant brain device needs to be taken out. 

My goal was to return to college an earn a PhD but I can’t do to not having excess to previous knowledge including 8.5 years of college unless this device is removed. There is too much pressure in my brain. I found someone to take it out but need hotel, an transportation expenses- gas money from TN to California in a van -$600 for round trip, and medical deductible expenses. I owe $1,500, will owe $1,600 more for deductibles, and need money for gas and some hotels. Hotels run $85 to $130 a night. I will need to be there for 2 weeks. 

I am currently unable to work. If this device is left in my brain, turned off, I will develop cyst at the end of the wires - according to the research. I have a place that has agree to see me but it is 2,400 miles away, which is far and will cost me at least $300 in gas one way. 

(I am also dyslexic and ADHD but did well in an undergraduate program and a MA program and believe if the device is taken out I will do well in a PhD program.)
