Nurse Katie Medical Fund

Katie is an amazing caring loving person. She is a dedicated and loyal wife to her soulmate Joe. She's a great friend. She's a compassionate, excellent nurse. She is loving and accepting. She watches Dr.Who and reads the likes of Harry Potter and the Hunger Games. She is momma to her precious fur baby rescue doggies. She listens to the Beatles and Rolling Stones. She leaves us doodles, jokes, puns, and inspirational notes just to make us smile. In the early hours of Thursday morning she suffered a cardiac event while tending to her patient. She went down striking her head very hard on the arm of the wheelchair in that patient's room causing some sort of seizure activity. She endured CPR for over an hour and was shocked at least twice before being flown to Methodist of Indy on the life line helicopter. She is currently medically sedated and intubated to allow her body to rest and heal as family and friends surround her in a protective shield of love. My hope is to help this precious family stay afloat while Katie recovers. Katie is only 23 years old. Please share this so we can help a woman who has dedicated her life to helping others.
