Get Wayne on a Trike Bike

Hello everyone,
I am Wayno's sister and want to help raise money for Wayne to get a specialized Trike Bike so he can get moving and active in a way that he feels able and comfortable as well as have fun doing it.
A little about Wayne:
Wayne as many of you know is a amazing soul as he fly's so high above some of his challenges, finding ways for him to be active in a way he enjoys has been one challenge that has been a bit of a struggle. He has difficulty walking for long distances as he has hip formation issues causing his feet to face outwards and causing pain as he walks. He LOVES swimming but get's constant ear infections. Wayne has always had a yearning for being on a bike but with some balance issues it just wasn't an option..... UNTIL... we came across someone riding one of these very cool trike bikes. It was like it was meant to be, I had brough up the fact that there are these trike bikes out there, I hadn't seen one in person but I knew of them. That very same day while spending time with my mom and brother we ran into 2 different people riding these bikes!! It just happend that there was a store just down the road in Qualicum that sold them. We then went over to check out this store and soon enough Wayne was testing out a bike catching on in a flash. He was in heaven beaming from ear to ear. He had a sense of freedom and excitement know this is something he could do.
A little about the bike:
The bike is a custom specially made bike that is equipped with pedal assist (Bionex). The company who makes this bike is called Varna you can check them out here http://www.varnahandcycles.com They are a local company on gabriola who custom makes the bikes to work for people with specific disabilitys. The store that distributes them is called Pedego in Qualicum. Supporting local is always good too ;)
With such a great quality custom bike comes a higher price tag. This is why Im calling out to all who know Wayne and would love to see him moving. Any small amount would help if you feel you would like to pitch in. And of course as a big sis I will be contributing a chunk ;)
