Helping Melissa

Hey guys!

We are sending this message to our friends and family to let them know that we are going through a difficult time with our little daughter Melissa. She has been having convulsions with each fever and these convulsions are becoming more and more intense, difficult to stop, the last one lasted 16 minutes and they had to intubate her and cool her body. With each episode, they need to do a scan of the head to check if there are any sequelae.

We tried to speak to several doctors and they told us that this could happen every week or every month, that is, any time she has a fever and it could last up to 5 years of age - today she is 2 years old.

We discovered that in Brazil there is a neuropediatric treatment that brings hope for the end of these recurrent crises, and we need support to pay for the airfare tickets and treatment, as we cannot afford it at the moment.
