Welcome to the Waypoint Youth and Community Center GoFundMe page.
As members of the local community of faith, our start-up committee comes together from many of the churches in the area. Through the common bonds of our faith and promise to walk out the principle of "loving our neighbors as ourselves" (Mark 12:31), we have purposed in our hearts, and have committed to opening a youth and community center.
Over the last four years God has been revealing to us His heart for the youth and community of West Newton. We believe that the opening of this center is in accordance with His will. We understand that one of the best ways to show the love of Christ to this community is to provide a safe place in town for the youth to grow and flourish. That being the case, we pray this center will change the trajectory of young lives in West Newton, PA.
Our vision is clear. We aspire to be a source of life and hope, recognized for how we nurture students, deploy them for service, and contribute to a vibrant, welcoming community.
Our goal is to help youth find purpose, direction, and joy as full members of our town.
We are currently renting a building next to Gary's Chuck Wagon.
OUR GOAL IS $100,000.
All of the money raised in this project will be used to complete the renovate that we have begun to the building and to hire staff as well as expand our weekday programs and services.
Your prayerful and financial support is what we are relying on to make this happen.
