Memorial and Celebration of his Life and Legacy of Wayne R. Rock
The siblings of Boston Police Homicide Detective Wayne R. Rock, Esq are saddened by his passing.
Our brother Wayne, a retired homicide detective and Boston Police Academy Instructor passed away on December 28, 2017, in Fayetteville, GA, where he was receiving in-home hospice care and succumbed to cancer. Wayne was a highly regarded, respected, valor awarded Boston police officer, social activist, lawyer, law professor and human rights activist.
His siblings have planned a Memorial Tribute and Celebration of his Life and Legacy which will be held on:

Reception to Follow
After the Memorial Celebration of Wayne Rock, the siblings of will offer a reception for guests and family members. It will provide an opportunity to spend time together and remember the Wayne in a more casual setting while spending time with his friends and family of over 60 years.
The Wayne Rock Memorial and Educational Scholarship Fund (Established by Wayne Rock's Siblings).
We hope that you will contribute to the Memorial along with the newly established Wayne Rock Memorial and Educational Scholarship Fund, which will provide yearly scholarships to deserving Boston minority students who wish to attend college for public and community service.
As a family, we know that Wayne was committed to public and community service and we want to continue his work for years to come.
If you would like to contribute to the Memorial and The Wayne Rock Memorial and Scholarship Fund your donation of $10,$25, $50 $100 or more will go a long way towards making The Wayne Rock Memorial and Scholarship Fund an additional living testament and tribute to Wayne Rock's work in his beloved Boston.
All funds will be managed by The Wayne Rock Memorial and Scholarship Fund.
