Chris Medical Fund
We are raising money to help with medical expenses and travel expenses related to diagnosis and treatment at Mayo clinic. This is hard to do, asking for help especially monetary help. We are proud people and have always worked hard to take care of ourselves and others. But the last couple of years have really zapped us financially with multiple medical issues, layoffs from jobs etc.
Last year Chris was able to cash in a small 401K that he had that carried us through when he was unemployed after hospitalization and cover the medical expenses but here we are 8 months later. He hasn't worked in a month and won't work for another month. I work 2 jobs to help make ends meet but with hospitalizations and travel to Mayo I haven't had the time to work any at my 2nd job to supplement any of our income. And that 2nd job doesn't provide enough supplement to cover his lost wages. The 2nd job was originally just to cover Ally's dance expenses, but now has new purpose.
So we are asking if you have anything to give we would appreciate it. Our credit card bills are climbing. We are currently at Mayo and not sure how long we will be here and seems like we will be returning again for follow up and that requires more travel expense. Hospital deductible and Co-Insurance will be a total of $3500 as the bills start rolling in. Then comes the travel expenses. I don't even know what the total expenses will be. We will work hard to get caught up when we can, we are just needing a little help right now. Things just keep piling on. I'm sure I'm rambling, I'm tired, stressed and frankly a little depressed at the moment. All a little hard to admit. Thanks for the continued prayers and thanks for donating if you are able.
