The Beginning or the End.

Hello everyone my name is John and I am planning an epic road trip and need some assistance. I am not good at asking for help. I thought a GoFundMe campaign would be the best route to go.

I have named this campaign The Beginning or the End. And this trip will be either the beginning of a new chapter in my life. Or it will be the end of the road for me in this body. I know this sounds dramatic and I guess that it is.

See I have been working in a trade that I hate for 38 years. For the last 15 years, I have been working for a company that offers no sick days, vacation time or health insurance. I fought this year to get holidays. I don't think I need to fight for just basic essentials for an employee. I am mentally and physically done with this trade. I also gave myself a cut-off date for working in my current trade. And that date is August 7, 2023, which is my birthday and coming up quickly.

So. what is my plan you asking? Well, I just installed a rooftop tent and solar on my car. Hopefully, this will help keep travel expenses down as I explore the United States. I will be documenting the journey through video and photography. Hopefully, at some point, I will be able to support myself by doing what I love to do with photography. This road trip will give me the time to expand my portfolio to use for my websites. Until then I will need some assistance with funds to keep me on the road exploring the United States. I am willing to lose everything including my life and roll the dice on this adventure. I would rather have a shorter life than continue on this path I have been on for 38 years. I will be optimistic about this decision, while also being realistic that it may be the last decision I make.
