Watson Institute is a reimagined model of education for next-generation innovators, leaders, and entrepreneurs. We are built on the belief that to solve the toughest challenges facing the world, we must equip the next generation with the necessary tools, network, mindset, and courage to unleash a lifetime of impact.
In Fall 2020, a cohort of young social innovators hailing from all corners of the world will convene in Boulder, Colorado to tackle the greatest challenges facing the world in a 4-month Watson Semester Accelerator program. From climate change to income inequality and from political oppression to access to water, students enrolled in the Watson Accelerator leverage training, mentorship, and community to unleash a lifetime of impact.
We need your help!
Most Watson Scholars can only attend the Watson Semester Accelerator program through some form of merit and/or financial aid generously contributed by Watson Institute, individually-sourced foundations and sponsors. This rarely includes the funds for Scholars' return flights, for which the cost would have to be carried by the individual Scholar regardless of their socio-economic background.
Our collective experience as the current Spring 2020 Cohort have profoundly shaped our journey as a social entrepreneur, equipping us to step back into the world stronger and smarter in fulfilling our mission for social change. We would not bereft anyone of the opportunity, as we believe that it should not be a matter of country of origin and financial capabilities that determines a young, excellent and high-potential social entrepreneur from attending this program.
As such, we would like to ensure the next generation of Scholars the same opportunity that we were fortunate enough to have. Whether it's $1, $5 or $20, 100% of your donation will go towards a set of return flight tickets for the Scholar who if without, would not be able to be part of the Fall 2020 Watson Semester Accelerator program.
