Water for Tsavo's Wildlife

We are supporting communities in rural Kenya that are being affected by conflicts from wildlife which is directly linked to climate change.

 

Currently, Kenya is going through a devastating drought. Tsavo where most of our work is based, communities, livestock and wildlife are suffering as the drought takes its toll. Crops have dried out, livestock are wasting away and wildlife are dying. Wildlife are going out of their habitats into villages destroying property and at times causing injuries.

 

We urgently need funds so we can:

 

Replenish dried water holes. This will ensure the wildlife is hydrated and that they do not stray into villages and destroy crops.

 

Support community scouts as they replenish water holes and protect communities and wildlife.

 

Work on long term sustainable water solutions such as installing boreholes.
