Washington DC/NY 8th Grade Trip

I am raising money to travel to Washington DC and New York with my 8th grade class. This trip will include a history of our country and how it has affected our society today. I believe that this trip will shape me into a responsible and educated U.S. citizen.

The itinerary includes the White House, the Library of Congress, the Supreme Court, the Presidential Museum, the Changing of the Guard, the Holocaust Memorial Museum, and the Smithsonian Museums. It also includes, the Lincoln, WWII, Vietnam, and Korean Memorials. In New York, we will take a walking tour of Midtown Grand Central Station, Bryant Park, Times Square, and Central Park. Finally, we will visit the Statue of Liberty, Wall Street, we will attend a Broadway show, and too many other featured memorials and museums to mention.

 I am working hard by babysitting, dog walking and yard work to pay for my portion of the trip and would really appreciate any contributions towards the trip. Thank you for your consideration of contributing to my educational trip!
