At approximately 6:08pm on October 13, 2017, Walter Jones was involved in a horrific motor vehicle crash. He was airlifted to UAB hospital with major injuries to his brain, spine and internal organs.
Walter suffered multiple spine fractures, brain injuries, kidney trauma, stroke, rib damage, and broken neck and leg. As of 10/25/17, he is still in TBICU. His recovery period is undetermined at this time. We DO KNOW GOD is the master healer. Walter’s future prognosis is undetermined at this time.
Our family will face a long, difficult road to recovery. I’m his daughter, Victoria Russell and have set-up this campaign to assist with financial costs associated with his recovery (rent, utilities, moving expenses for handicap accessible housing, equipment, and other necessities). Both Stacy and Walter have exhausted their medical leave. As we enter the season of THANKSGIVING, we prayerfully ask for your financial assistance. No amount is too large or too small.

Walter didn't have insurance at the time of the crash, disability was denied, and medical bills are rapidly growing. His wife, Stacy, and caregiver is off work and by his side with no income. Your donation will assist with financial costs associated with his recovery (rent, utilities, moving expenses for handicap accessible housing, equipment such as a wheelchair, handicap accessible vehicle, medications, and other necessities).

I believe my parents are very deserving of your funding because they truly have a heart of gold. Walter and Stacy are the definitions of a GIVER. Anytime someone has ever been in need, they have stopped their world to help…..now it’s time for us to help them! So, anything you can do to help this family would be a blessing!
