Walnut: abandoned pup surgery

Hi - my name is Walnut and I am 10 months old and I was found by Alison all by myself wandering the streets of Corpus Christi with no id or chip. Without luck finding my owner, Alison brought me to her mom (Nikki) in Austin, Texas who has house dogs and who has fostered dogs before and has helped them find their forever homes.

Nikki took me to the vet for all my shots and an x-ray to see why I am limping so badly and unfortunately my front right leg is in real trouble. It was broken when I was much younger and since no one was around to take care of me it did not heal properly.  My limp and pain get worse every day.  Dr. Frank from 2222 Vet was able to locate an established orthopedic surgeon and hopefully my surgery next week will go well cause I sure do love chasing squirrels and playing with my foster brothers and sister!

The surgery is $3500. I never wanted to be a burden to anyone as a matter of fact -- I try very hard to be a very good puppy. I am toilet trained; crate trained; love my foster brothers and sister; obey all orders and am filled with gratitude to be a dog because I love making humans smile and feel my unconditional adoration.

My foster mom tells me I am special! I told her all dogs are special when they are loved. Thanks for reading my story and for your well wishes.
