Walking for WAG

Thank you for taking the time to visit my GoFundMe page.

Last year, as I was about to celebrate a landmark birthday, I decided to take a serious look at my bucketlist. The result was a long, hot 500 mile walk across part of Spain - the Camino de Santiago France, from St. Jean-Pied-de-Port, France to Santiago de Compostella. It had a powerful and positive impact on my life -so much , in fact, that I have decided to return to Spain and do it once again on the Camino Del Norte. It occurred to me that I may be able to somehow use my trip to bring awareness-and hopefully contributions -to my favourite local non-profit, Wimberley Adoption Group & Rescue. More information about Wimberley Adoption Group & Rescue: The mission of Wimberley Adoption Group & Rescue (WAG Rescue) is to come to the aid of abandoned, neglected, unclaimed and surrendered dogs and puppies in and around the Wimberley area and western Hays County.

WAG Rescue takes in any dog or puppy in need regardless of their age or condition.

WAG Rescue provides medical and emotional care for these animals and places them in a nurturing environment where they receive training and learn socialization skills until they are ready to be adopted.
