Walk for Dementia

I am raising money for Dementia research in order to help those that are suffering from dementia and alzheimers. Dementia affects thinking, behaviour, and the ability to perform everyday tasks. Sufferers struggle each day trying to get by, forgetting how to perform simple tasks and not recognising their loved ones. I want to raise money so that others will have a better chance than my Grandmother who was unable to be treated due to a lack of effective cures. In order to raise money i will be walking non-stop for as long as i can. I will be walking on a treadmill so i can monitor my distance. Single donations are a great and i also want to have a $ per Km travelled donation available.  The walk will be on Sunday the 10th of December. All of the proceeds will go to Alzheimer's Australia who do great work in finding treatments. Most people know someone who has suffered from dementia or alzheimer's and this is a small step to curing the illness.
