Help A Soldier Walk Again Fund

I know from experience that there's nothing Special Operations veterans hate more than having to ask for help. So when I have a fellow Green Beret reach out to me asking for help, I know it is after exhausting all other options and that I need to do everything I can to meet the need at hand. 
This Green Beret had a pretty catastrophic motorcylce accident that left him injured and unable to walk. He is a single dad and trying to do everything he can to get back on his feet. T
He said it better than I ever could. This is the message I received. "The ExoSym would greatly help me walk. The Army will only pay for me to get the Ideo breace which is not as good quality as the ExoSym and I would have to go TDY down to Texas for the Ideo brace. Makes things difficult as a single dad.  The ExoSym is right here in Gig Harbor so everything can be done here and don't have to leave home. Point is that the Army won't pay for the ExoSym even though is right here so for me to get this brace, which is better, I would need some help. This is why I am asking you."

So that's where we are at... While the invoice is for $9,000.00 there are othe costs associated which is why this campaign is for $12,000.00, not to mention GoFundMe takes a percentage. I hope we can hit more than twice the goal so he can focus on rehabilitating and not have to worry about all the small stuff. 
 
For the reason listed in first paragraph I plan on keeping this person anonymous unless he says otherwise. 
This brace will dramatically change his quality of life so please give... If all you can afford is $1.00 it's appreciated.
