Join WALK and show your support for people with disabilities in Ukraine.
WALK is a member of the National Federation of Voluntary Service providers, an umbrella group for disability service providers here in Ireland.
Our group is working with the VGO Coalition in Ukraine and its member organisations.
How the money will be used.
• 100% of the money collected will be used directly to assist Ukrainian citizens with intellectual disabilities and their families impacted by war in Ukraine.
• Money will go directly to VGO Coalition and their local organisations so they can buy food, water, medicines, hygiene products, and other goods they need urgently.
• The money will also be used to pay for personal assistance, and other community-based forms of support to people with intellectual disabilities and their families.
• We work with VGO Coalition, and we are in contact with their local organisations too, to establish reliable ways of sending money, so that these contacts can withdraw cash, buy products, and distribute.
