Noa'ia 'e mauri (greetings)

A few months ago, my sister-in-law Andrea Kirwin and I shaved our beautiful, long, luscious hair to help raise funds for kids with childhood cancer living in Fiji through the charity WOWS Kids Fiji. We managed to raise a couple thousand dollars with your help, kindness and generosity.

Now with the help of some amazing men at Grab Life (a group that runs laid back, social events for blokes across Australia and New Zealand. Mateship is an effectively simple and blokey way we can improve men's health and wellbeing), a dinner is being organised to help continue raising much needed funds to send back home for these wonderful children and their families. We have only 14 tickets left now for the dinner.
The Dinner includes:
- A hearty 4 course dinner.
- Live Music by Skillz FJ.
- We are Raffling 2 bottles of high end wine and auctioning off 1 very high quality wine bottle, only from Brini Wines Estate.
Tickets $95p.p
Time: 6pm
Address: 179 Nicklin Way, Warana QLD 4575
There is Limited Seating so contact Byron 0491760596 for tickets.

Here is abit more information on WOWS Kids Fiji.

WOWS Kids Fiji (WKF) a non-profit Charity Foundation for children with cancer in Fiji. The organisation works in close collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Medical Services to coordinate and provide support for families with children living with cancer in their journey and equally important, raise awareness on child cancer issues in the country. The organisation also provides support for children from the other Pacific Island Countries that come to Fiji for cancer treatment.
WKF brings to realization the mandate of the Tae Kami Foundation, here in Fiji – for the better care and support for children living with cancer in the Pacific. The Tae Kami Foundation is a registered charity in Tonga that was established in 2009 to fulfil the dreams of 15-year-old Tae Kami who died of cancer in August 2008.

Tae died leaving behind a song – Walk On Walk Strong (WOWS), and a list of dreams, including a resource room, scholarship funds and WOWS Fund to help out children with cancer in Tonga and the Pacific.

A huge Heartfelt Faiakse'ea and Vinaka Vaka Levu (Thank you) to everyone who has gotten behind this campaign.
