Walk for Peter
My nephew Peter O Hagan was diagnosed with epilepsy in December 2019.. like any teenager all he wanted was to live a normal life, he wanted to work, he wanted to learn to drive but all of this was put on hold because of epilepsy. He battled on a daily basis with his seizures.
Peter and his dad had arranged to do this walk to raise funds and awareness for Epilepsy Action. Unfortunately our Peter never got the chance, he left this world on 13th May.
We his family and his friends are now walking in his memory. The walk will take place on Saturday 24th July at 1pm. Meeting at Sainsbury’s carpark.
If you would like to take part or offer a small donation please pm me.
Epilepsy affects around 600,000 people in the UK. This means that almost 1 in 100 people in the UK have epilepsy. Around 87 people are diagnosed with epilepsy in the UK every day.
