Dhananjay is one of the co-founders of Joining the Dots Foundation, that I have add the pleasure of interacting with over the years. He is an amazing person with great dedication towards helping with rural children education . He has made great accomplishments in last 3 years and I wish him all the best for his future endeavors in helping rural children in India.
His goal is focused on upliftment of rural education and helping in better of children life for a greater India. I wanted to help to raise funds to get closer to the dream of building an Indoor badminton court in Pathikonda High School in a village called Palamaner, Andhra Pradesh, India. Few of our students have already represented their state in soccer, volley ball and Tennicot. Due to lack of indoor games infrastructure, they aren't able to participate in sports such as badminton. This is the beginning and we want to build more such infrastructure in the future. Help us in providing the freedom to our students to chose the game they want to play.
We as a team have always wondered on how does it feel when a person's freedom is curtailed. Does the current generation even realize that the independence we have today is actually the result of many hardships and sacrifices made by heroes like Bhagath Singh, Lala Lajpat Rai, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose , Rani Chennamma? To pay our respects to many such heroes, we are also organizing a 3 day FREEDOM WALK from Bengaluru to Palamaner. We are starting on 12th August and will reach Pathinkonda Zilla Parishad High School on 15th Augustfor the independence day celebrations. This walk would make us cover a distance of 150 kms. Come and join us in this respectful journey.
