Wake County's FIRST Queer Prom for High Schools!

I'm raising money to benefit Hope for Teens, and any donation will help make an impact. The mission of Hope for Teens is to provide support and advocacy for LGBTQ+ teens. By attending GSA meetings, participating in Pride events, participating in education festivals, and providing anti-bullying presentations to both students and adults, Hope for Teens hopes to bring awareness and support to teens and make sure they feel included and important to our communities.

For the 2022-2023 school year, Hope for Teens will be hosting the FIRST EVER Queer Prom for ALL STUDENTS in Wake County and surrounding areas schools. We look forward to a night of inclusivity and acceptance that will celebrate how notable each attendee is, with the theme being, "Superheroes Among Us". Hope for Teens is not charging an entrance fee but will require registration so an accurate count can be given to the venue.

All funds raised will help offset the cost of holding this important event. The venue, decorations, DJ, photo booth, and parting gifts are all part of the evening. Other items requiring fees may come up as planning continues.

We want to make sure all students that are part of the LGBTQ+ community, and their allies, have a happy and memorable night as part of their High School memories. This event will be the first of many to come; any support will show the teens how supported they are.
