Here are photos of just some of the dogs we have taken in and rescued in the last 40 days. There are so so so many being abandoned right now due to the virus itself, people just dumping dogs through the crazy belief that their dogs may be spreading this and its utter rubbish. Our rescue burden is huge. Absolutely overwhelming and the pressure is on. So huge that we simply dont have time behind the scenes to publicise every rescue we undertake at the moment because we are so insanely busy and just dont have the time to publish all. But all these dogs have been taken in, in the last 40 days into our rescue. Some have died already from parvo,:'( but most are doing ok but the next phase of problems has hit.
CORONA VIRUS has caused panic buying in the stores we use to supply our dogs with food in pensions and fosters and kennels. Please please please, our need is greater than ever before. I know everyone is consumed with keeping their own families and children safe, rightly so, but please please if you can spare just a little thought, and an ounce of compassion for our dogs needing help, and a small donation for our dogs in kennels and pension who are running out of food because of the panic buying, we need to be able to buy in bulk 3 months worth of food up front to ensure our dogs remain fed and safe. Food is key to keeping them healthy, good food and vitamins and were running vastly short on both. Our bulk supplier has said he can secure 3 months worth up front if we can pay him up front for all. We need to raise this by Sunday to ensure we can buy three months worth of food up front. After that who knows what will happen, or even if food will stilll be available at the wholesalers because everyone is trying to do the same thing. Plan ahead. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASEHELP US IF YOU CAN. PLEASE......... or Wags may well have to fold and then we cannot save a single dog not now, not in future, not ever. Please please support us with however much you can during this very very very difficult time in rescue. Thank you so much, and if you cant donate, please share our appeal, Please I beg you. Our dogs lives depend on it. We have 228 dogs in kennels, and 80 of those waiting to go home to the Uk once the borders open again. Please help us. <3
