Freelance travel fund

I am a freelance journalist who covers women's sports. While the various organizations I contract with sometimes pay some of my travel costs, it is rare that they cover all of them. What they don't cover comes out of my pocket.

 

I am planning to cover the NCAA Women's College World Series in Oklahoma City, OK at the beginning of June, and I will need to cover some of the costs myself. As fans of women's sports know, a lot of us who cover women's sports do it for little money. That means there's less in my pocket to cover those out-of-pocket expenses.

 

I would appreciate any support. Nothing is too small. Anything over my fundraising goal will be used for future travel to cover the WNBA and other NCAA women's sports.
