Loving Lindsay

Last night my precious daughter Lindsay was in a horrific car accident, and had to be lifeflighted to Grady hospital in Atlanta. She is still in surgery as of this writing,, and will go for a head and body CT once she’s stable. A drunk driver hit her going 85 mph as witnessed by a police officer across the street from the scene. As of now she has an 8 inch gash on her forehead, broken jaw, shattered pelvis, ruptured bladder, dislocated right arm (more on that later). All of these are compounded by the fact that she doesn’t have functioning adrenal glands (Addison’s Disease), unstable diabetes, Mastocytosis, which can cause anaphylaxis from any substance, fiber, food etc without warning and has already damaged her lungs and other organs., She was to began chemotherapy to help suppress these attacks very soon to prevent the usual resulting leukemia and stop the attacks. And lastly, dysautonomia which causes an inability to regulate heart rate and blood pressure.  She will be in a medically induced coma for now.
     Lindsay just moved into a new rental home Neely single with my 3 grandchildren after staying with us for a few months. She is on full disabilty and already had it pretty tough, but not being able to do her side jobs used to supplement her disability and childcare with be devastating and likely cause her to lose her home. She has worked so hard, as just a year ago she fought her way out of a wheelchair and walked again after over 18 months unable. She is a strong lady and wonderful mother, but she needs our help!
     Please search your heart and help in any WSU and amount you can. This is going to be a long haul for her and her children. I do appreciate your help.
