Hope for Arabella

For those of you who have not heard her story, three-year-old Arabella Parker is currently in critical condition at Geisinger Medical Hospital in Danville. According to law enforcement, Arabella Parker suffered 44 separate injuries under the care of her mother and her mother’s boyfriend. Arabella was given a 10-percent chance of survival, as she was hurt so badly she had to have emergency surgery to remove part of her brain. Mandy Kegler, Arabella’s biological aunt, was granted temporary custody of her niece as of October 29th.

Mandy’s son is a student in my Autistic Support class. Mandy is an incredible mother to two children, and works full-time. In addition to her daily responsibilities, Mandy spends her mornings and afternoons at Arabella’s bedside, supporting her as best she can during this traumatic time. Mandy has sacrificed countless nights of sleep, and wants nothing more than for Arabella to be in good health and safe hands.

While Arabella needs much more than donations, I would love to raise some money to help Mandy with any expenses she may have for Arabella. Any amount, large or small, would be so greatly appreciated. If you are unable to donate, please just consider saying a prayer for this sweet girl.
