Mi amiga Ylia Elena necesita de tu ayuda para recibir con urgencia tratamiento médico para salvar su vida. Ella tiene 74 años y recientemente fue diagnosticada con cáncer de ovario en estadio IV, causándole acumulación de líquido en su abdomen (a esto se llama ascitis), su vientre se inflama, ejerciendo presión en sus órganos internos y no la deja comer y respirar bien, requiriendo de procedimientos frecuentes para la extracción de líquido, lo cual le proporciona un alivio temporal y le brinda una mayor calidad de vida, líquido que también se está acumulando en sus pulmones (Derrame Pleural). Estos procedimientos resultan muy costosos, pero son necesarios para controlar y estabilizar su cuerpo, además de permitirle la aplicación del tratamiento de quimioterapia y prepararla para la cirugía a la que deberá someterse (extirpación de ovarios) una vez esté estabilizada.
En los últimos 6 meses sus 2 hijos, han agotado todos los recursos para cubrir los exámenes, biopsias y otros gastos médicos que permitieron conocer el diagnóstico de su enfermedad.
