Heading To The National Championships
I’m Josiah Bossio from Juneau Alaska. Im competing in the USA Track & Field Junior Olympics this summer. This past weekend (July 8th, 9th) I competed in the Reginal Championships held in Spokane Wa. Region 13 includes the states of Ak, WA, OR, and ID. I ran the 100m & 200m in the 11-12 y/o age group, taking 1st in both and set new records that were held since 1987. I qualified to compete in the Junior Olympic National Championships held July 24th – 30th in Lawrence Kansas. I’m excited to have the opportunity to compete against the best athletes in the country.
