Save Bo

My Mom's sweet boy, Bo, likely has digested something foreign that is once again causing an obstruction.  Many of you may remember this happened back in March.  Bo underwent surgery at that time to remove pieces of a tennis ball.  Although my mom has been vigilant in watching what he plays with, he occasionally gets into mischief.  She is unsure of what he could have gotten into this time. 

She took Bo to see Dr. Sue at Tendertouch Veterinary today where Dr. Sue kindly examined him and did x-rays.  There is definitely something in his intestines.  In order to survive, Bo will require another surgery.  As you can imagine, this would be a hardship for my mom as she is still paying off his first surgery.  The thought of having to put him down breaks her heart, but is something she now faces.  She just doesn't have the funds to provide him the second surgery. 

Having to make this decision is extremely difficult and heart-wrenching for her.  Bo only has a few days before this obstruction becomes life threatening.  Without surgery, he will not survive.  My mom mentioned to me that by Saturday, the decision to put him to sleep or go forward with the surgery would have to be made. Bo has been a wonderful companion to my mom and his little brother Prince.  He is also wonderful with my boys.

Any help that is given would be so very much appreciated.  My mom has just her furry companions to come home to at the end of each day.  They comfort her and protect her.
