ARMANDOS MEDICAL FUND

So this is how the story goes. In 1977 a young teenage boy came to a little tiny bike shop and asked for a job. Henry Roberts the owner told him no. Didn't stop him....he kept coming back week after week until one day Henry threw an apron at him and told him to come back into the repair area and he would give him one dollar an hour. 40 years later this young man Armando Huerta who has been with Bicycle World since has suffered a severe stroke.
Any one who knows about bicycling in the Rio Grande Valley knows or has heard of Armando. He has graciously sagged numerous bicycle tours, worked countless bicycle rodeos and never said the word no when asked for help for any cycling event.
Our staff is heartbroken that he is in the hospital and incapacitated but we are hopeful that he will make a full recovery. At this time the stroke has caused right side paralysis and he struggles with his speech. Rehab will start soon and then we all know it is a wait and pray situation but believing in his determination and the power of prayer we are believing in healing.
Prayerfully consider donating to this fund. No amount is to little and every bit helps.
