Starting our family with IVF

Hi all,

My husband and I have made a Gofundme for us to help raise funds for IVF. We really aren't people that ask for help at all, we are usually the ones that will help everyone else. So it does feel strange putting this all out there.

But it's something we've been struggling with for a really long time and want more then anything to start a family of our own. IVF can be a very expensive endeavour, luckily it's cheaper then it used to be though! The financial pressure is just one more stress that we really don't need in an already very stressful time. Just one trip to the Chemist for our meds was $260, that all adds up really quickly.

We've already had 2 egg retrievals and 4 unsuccessful transfers. None of the doctors and specialists know why it's not happening for us, and that makes it so frustrating.

We used up a big chunk of our savings in moving to WA from QLD at the end of 2022 and with the cost of living getting higher by the day it's getting harder and harder to get ahead and to add to those expenses with our rent now going up more too.

Every bit is helpful, but please don't feel obligated to donate. We know that most are doing it tough these days.
