Cancer is In-Tents!!

As we all know Pediatric Cancer is intense. It’s something that no child should ever have to endure. Treatments have been made even harder because of the COVID-19 restrictions put in place. Many children are no longer allowed to access the playrooms and play areas when they are inpatient. Apart from being able to walk the halls children must spend their time in their rooms.

For Pediatric Cancer Awareness month this year Sawyer has a special project he wants to raise funds for pop-up tents! When he was inpatient and stuck in his room for long periods of time he really enjoyed having a pop-up tent in there. It was his own special space in the hospital that was his and it also would help get him out of bed. This was very critical especially when he was recovering from his Stem Cell Transplants.
