Taylor's FFA Project - Q T Pi

Hi, I'm Taylor Stanfill and I’m a Freshman at Bakersfield Christian High School and a member of the FFA Program.

My dream is to become a veterinarian, so the FFA Program has been an amazing opportunity for me to learn skills and management practices related to animal husbandry and agricultural business.

In May, I purchased a grower pig that I have been feeding and caring for all summer.  Her name is Q T Pi, and I'll  be showing and selling her at the Kern County Fair next week. Q T Pi will weigh approximately 250-260 pounds when she goes to fair.  

Proceeds from the sale will help me pay for raising my hog this summer, provide money to purchase another animal for my FFA project next year, as well as continue to help me pay for my tuition at BCHS.
