A Better Education for 150 Children in Rural China

In Tongxin County, Ningxia Province, China, severe drought and lack of development continue to trap the local villagers in a pernicious cycle of poverty. The lack of educational resources at the local schools means that their children, the younger generation, are unable to receive a quality education that they all deserved. As a result, many of the eager students are unable to change their lives and to help their families eventually rise above poverty. In rural Jiangxi, Inner Mongolia, and Chongqing province where EFA currently also operates, the same unfortunate circumstances are also happening every day.
Education for All Foundation (EFA) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to upholding educational equity in impoverished areas. We teach year-round online interactive English curriculum for impoverished schools around the world through bi-weekly video conference lessons. Our lessons are taught by a team of teachers who are native English speakers and trained to connect with students. We tailor our education to the needs of individual schools by taking a hands-on approach while engaging with the language. This approach improves student enthusiasm and encourages interaction and participation.
We ask for your donation to support those children in need, to support them with better educational resources they all deserve. Your donations will have the following impacts:
$10 will purchase a printer to print out important notes for practice.
$15 will improve wifi connection at the school, preventing cancellations and delays in classes.
$50 will purchase workbooks for a class of 40 students.
$100 will add 10 new English books to an underfunded school library in rural areas.
$250 will purchase two desktop computers for a class of 40.
$500 will train 20 more experienced English teachers for 200 more rural students.
$1000 will fund one year college tuition for a year for an impoverished student.
