Family farm lost to Volcano & Lava

Samantha and her five children have lost everything they own.  There is no insurance and federal funds require 20 homes be destroyed but there are not 200 homes in this area. 

This Pahoa Hawaii farm family has lost everything to the Volcano.  Many locals know this farm as the purple coop in Pahoa. There you could get fresh eggs and take your child for an affordable price to learn how to work with horses fairly and how to ride.  It was a peaceful home to Samantha Fives Rush, her five children and some amazing horses.

Lava has boiled up from the ground on three sides and what that did not destroy, the poisonous gas is now killing. Sam rescued her children, her farm animals, her horses, and horses that were not even hers. Now they have to secure a place to live and start over.

 With the Lava and ash spewing Sam moved trailer after trailer loaded with horses, until her trailer broke.  Then the lava erupted in the higher ground where the horses were moved too...thanks to Gerad Delima and his quick selfless action of taking his horse trailer to the area erupting, he helped Samantha rescue all of the horses. We are forever thankful for her dedication to the beautiful lava horses. The gofundme to care for the horses is called Rescue the horses displaced by lava.

Now Samantha and her children have no income and have lost everything.  Sam has been caring for all the horses displaced by LAVA, cleaning, feeding, and moving those she can to donated pasture areas.

 This funding request is to help Samantha and her children survive, find a rent a place to live with her children and the horses too. If you know of a place they can rent, please let us know.
