Chepstow School presents
The Endless Summer Festival 2020
and
Chepstow’s Got Talent

Supporting our local heroes, St David’s Hospice Care and the Aneurin Bevan Health Board in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Chepstow School has enjoyed a close relationship with St David’s Hospice Care for many years and it is a cause close to our hearts. When CEO, Emma Saysell, whose boys attended our school, contacted us to request supplies of visors and anything else we could do to help them fundraise, we were called to action. St David’s Hospice Care need our help now, more than ever.

“St David's Hospice Care relies on income generated by its shops and fundraising to provide its vital hospice care. The NHS contributes 30 per cent of the clinical costs to St David's Hospice Care, the hospice has to raise the rest through its shops and fundraising to pay nursing salaries. With the shops shut and all fundraising events postponed, the hospice faces major cash flow issues. Demand on hospice clinical services is dramatically increasing as COVID-19 hits its peak and the hospice wants to ensure it can meet this, working alongside its NHS colleagues.”

“Visors are a key piece of PPE equipment to ensure the safety of our staff and patients during the COVID-19 crisis. As a hospice we are committed to providing end of life care to patients in their own homes, but to do this safely, we need the protection this equipment provides.” CEO, Emma Saysell

This is where Chepstow School and YOU, our fantastic community can help!
